The letter below was submitted by Transparency International EU and the other undersigned organisations to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Commission Vice-President Věra Jourová. It implores the Commission, ahead of the European Parliament elections, to accelerate the infringement procedure against Hungary, and call for interim measures to stop Hungary from further escalating its rule of law crisis.
