Transparency International EU is an independent non-profit organisation supported by a number of public and private donors. Our funding can be unrestricted or tied to specific projects or programmes.
It is our policy to accept funding – whether monetary or in kind – from any donor, provided that acceptance does not impair our independence to pursue our mission or endanger our integrity and reputation. All potential sources and terms of support undergo a careful internal review to ensure TI EU’s absolute institutional integrity and independence. Transparency International EU’s 2026 budget is around 1mn euros. Our work is currently supported by the following grants:

- Stiftung Mercator (240,003 EUR for Renewed Momentum for EU Enlargement 2024-2026)
- Google (92,221 GBP for ParliView – Bridging the information divide between the people and parliament 2025-2026)
- European Commission (145,562 EUR for Strengthening EU Collaboration to Uncover and Resist Emerging Corruption – SECURE 2025-2027)
- European Commission (100,000 EUR for Strengthening Anti-Corruption Efforts in the EU Southern Neighbourhood – Transparency Now 2025-2027)
- UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (40,009 EUR for Countering cross-border corruption and illicit finance to advance development 2025-2026)
- Adessium Foundation (40,000 EUR for Protecting Civil Society 2025-2026)
- Open Society Foundations (60,000 USD for general support 2024-2026)
Transparency International EU is a recipient of a Google Ad Grants award. The Google Ad Grants program distributes free in-kind advertising to registered nonprofit organisations.
