Alexander Wiest joined Transparency International EU in September 2025 as an EU Policy Trainee. Prior to joining TI EU, he undertook a Schuman Traineeship in the Secretariat of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE). Alexander holds a LL.B. in International and European Law from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and an LL.M. in International Human Rights from the University of Galway.
