The Global Corruption Barometer is one of the largest, most detailed surveys of citizens’ views on and experiences of corruption in the 27 EU countries. In partnership with Kantar, Transparency International surveyed over 40,000 people in the EU.
In the EU edition, in addition to views on government corruption and the relationship between business and politics, respondents shared their personal experiences of bribery and the use of personal connections to access public services.
Citizens also gave their opinions on transparency during the COVID-19 pandemic, corruption levels in every EU country and reporting wrongdoing.
Join us on 15 June as we discuss the results of the survey and the way forward for the EU with policy makers and civil society representatives.
