Policy Officer - Illicit Financial Flows

Nona joined Transparency International EU in January 2022 as a Policy Assistant working on AML/CFT, asset recovery, and sanctions. Prior to joining Transparency International EU, she contributed to a legislative proposal in the European Commission’s Cybercrime Unit and gained experience in public policy-making as a researcher for the Buchanan Institute, working on the open government approach. Nona holds an LL.M. in Criminal Law & Criminal Justice from the University of Edinburgh.
