Elena Haig

Research Assistant

Elena joined Transparency International in March 2023, as as a Research Assistant in the Illicit Financial Flows team. Prior to this, she completed an internship at the European Commission (DG JUST) in the area of international data protection and worked as a volunteer teacher for a Brussels-based migrants’ rights NGO. Elena holds a LLM in EU law from the College of Europe in Bruges, and an LLB in International and European Law and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands.
