This month, Transparency International EU (TI EU) will launch an upgraded version of the Corporate Tax Tracker. The platform allows anyone to examine the tax affairs of Europe’s largest banks and provides interactive graphs to visualise the data. 

The latest version includes data from publicly available country-by-country reports from 39 EU-based banks over a five-year reporting period (2015-2019). 

Before the main launch on October 27th, we want to offer civil society organisations and other allies a chance to preview the tool. We’ll also share highlights of our new report, Murky Havens & Phantom Profits: the Tax Affairs of EU Banks, which uses Tax Tracker data to analyse key trends in banks’ tax activity.

There will be a short presentation by Elena Gaita, Senior Policy Officer at TI EU, and then a chance for you to ask questions.
